A working sheep farm situated in the quiet beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside, in the village of Walwyns Castle. The farmhouse was originally the stable block for the Rectory, But was converted to a farmhouse over a hundred years ago. Around the farm you can usually see cattle sheep and chickens (free-range eggs for your cooked breakfast).

You can also fish for rainbow trout on our lake or just sit by it in the evenings enjoying a glass of wine. At the end of the farm lane is situated Rosemoor Nature Reserve, Where you can enjoy a peaceful walk around the lake with its abundance of birds and flowers. Rectory Farm is a good base for experiencing the whole of the county.

Rectory Farm is an ideal base for coast, river or sea fishing.

Our own lake is richly stocked with rainbow trout for your enjoyment whilst staying at Rectory Farm.

Three miles north is the tiny picturesque village of LITTLE HAVEN, and the sandy beach of BROAD HAVEN. Three miles south you will find the sheltered creek of SANDY HAVEN. A very special day out is a trip to SKOMER ISLAND, Where from early summer you can stand just a few feet away from puffins, guillimots, cormorants and gannett. The seals can be seen all year round. If water sports are your passion the village of DALE is A sheltered harbour at the entrance to the MILFORD HAVEN estuary and is a favourite with windsurfers and yachtsmen.

Around Pembrokeshire you will find a host of activities to keep the children occupied, including a theme park, farm and wildlife parks, golf courses and riding centres. ST DAVIDS to the north of the county is the smallest City in the country, and the cathedral dedicated to St David the patron saint of Wales is a must see.
