Barley Villa

CROESO. We offer you a Pembrokeshire Farm Holiday of peace and relaxation on our 20 acre smallholding in the quiet country parish of Walwyns Castle.
Our modern farm house has impressive views over woodland valley, fields and hedgerows with a small nature reserve across the road from our boundary. Seasonal flowers, birds and wildlife abound - a haven for nature lovers! and all this situated on the edge of The Pembrokeshire National Park.

Walwyns Castle hosts an impressive Church and has the site of a Mott and Bailey Castle.

Hearty breakfasts are served to set you up for the day consisting of juice; cereals; grapefruit; prunes; traditional cooked; toast with home made preserves and fresh fruit; tea and coffee. We use local produce wherever possible and offer our guests the opportunity to watch the birds feeding at several feeding stations as they enjoy breakfast. Lighter breakfasts are also available.and special diets and vegetarians catered for.

Good evening meals and real ales can be enjoyed at local seaside Inns and Restaurants within a 3 mile radius, some specialising in fish dishes.

Twin en-suite

Double en-suite

We have one double en-suite room with a view over our garden and drive; one twin en-suite room overlooking our fields and pony paddock and one double room with shared facilities also overlooking our fields and pony paddock.

All our rooms are centrally heated; have comfortable beds; hospitality tray; hairdryer; clock radio and small library of books and magazines.

Relax in the spacious lounge/diner with a real coal fire for chilly evenings - watch television or play from a selection of board games - if you can stay awake after a busy day exploring Pembrokeshire!

Other facilities include private parking for cars and boats, bicycle storage, packed lunches and transfer to and from coastal path for walkers. (There is a small charge for this service)

Pembrokeshire has so much to offer you, from active holidays or just relaxing and unwinding on beautiful beaches or special places - and there are many of these places ! Come, find and enjoy them yourself !

We will do our very best to ensure that your memories of your stay with us and of Pembrokeshire are enough to make you want to return time and again.
We highly recommend a visit to Skomer Island to see the puffin colony that return annually to the Island to nest and raise young. Our visitors enthuse over this day out although there may be occasions when the weather prevents the boat crossing over to the Island so allow a couple of days for this particular trip if your intention is to visit the Island

Woodpeckers playing
Nuthatch feeding in our garden
